January

Hey... It's me again!
dis the time for NEW YEAR!!!


bye 2012.... and say heeeellooooo to  2013!!!!!!


before starting up the new year with PLKN
  I would like to recap some awesome stories of ***DECEMBER***
  
well I had my Burfday bash.... I'm very "young" isn't?? xD
finally turning 17th!!! 
you know what that means? that's right! 1 year short of becoming an "adult"~~~~~~


 After celebrating my birthday with the family
I celebrate with my friends =)

Oh my.... they really surprised me 

 appearing out of nowhere... suddenly we were off eating noodles and chit-chatting "hawker style"xD

Just like last year... er.. 2011..... I went to KL (capital city) with ma family members
 on the way to KL, it was very boring in the car  -'.- so I played with the "Heartbooth" app
hehe.. created some funky photos =D

 this ma funky Tomyam Cheese Bread for the road...
we visited an uncle living at Sungai Buloh before heading to KL.
It was a quiet little settlement... everybody here is in the Botany buisness 

 We've spent a few hours looking at the flowers and plants

 After we've arrived at KL, our first meal was a grand one!!
 3 fish/fishes.. at a cheap price too... wow~fantastic^^
At night we went to Sunway Pyramid Mall to see the pre-Christmas celebrations
 Believe it or not? I've checked-in to the Sunway Hotel!! XD 5-star service
 hahaha... just kidding

The 2nd day at KL was a "religous" one... we went to all kinds of temples
Siamese, Chinese and Indians..

The "Tian Hou temple" was beautiful after it's renovation.. 
but I don't look forward to the expensive parking XP
 this sign was confusing enough ='.'= does it mean no entry or turn left?
After that, we went Batu Caves!!! 1 of our Malaysian landmarks
 sadly just after taking some photos, it started RAINING......
 My uncle brought us to Kajang for some delicious foods.
He used to study around these parts, he's clever about finding good food ='P

From left: Tai Lok Mee (big, fat, obese noodles), The famous "Satay!", and Otak-otak (direct translation in english---> Brain-brain)... nevermind the name, it doesn't taste anything that disgusting.

We've travelled further south... to Semenyih, Negeri Sembilan.
to a temple among the hills..... there were a lot of gigantic FRUITS? platic lah~

 "Fire-power" pose on top the hill after an exhausting hike!!
In KL, there is a place where you can enjoy steamboat buffet for an AWESOME price :'P
the BBQ Chicken there is the signature dish... we have to FIGHT for it!! 
there we have to compete with other customers to get the chicken wings and drummets.
sounds terrifying? don't worry, cuz me and my cousins are PROS at it!
*****THIS IS..... HUNGRY!!!***** not sparta... lol xD

The next day after some swimming, we went to IKEA, the Curve Damansara
 I've bought a non-stick coating frying pan (rm9.50,CHEAP!!!!)
we went around the Curve, shopping for clothes and looking at Christmas trees.
this Santa TICKLED me -',-?.... speechless
 
we ate some butter Crab for dinner!! uncle and aunt's treat...
with a hammer and empty stomach... we started our "construction work"
ping,ping,PANG,PANG!!! the restaurant was filled with noise.
my cousin wanted to go i-City last year, but didn't because of the long traffic jam.
this year we manage to go without any delays =D
OHH..the Lights!! sooo many, dizzzzzy 
looking up the starry sky, I was thinking:
all my family and friends are spending Christmas eve under this beautiful moon!
just lovely <3
the night wasn't over, my uncle brought us for some late night snack.
Roti tissue anyone? It contains no tissue, I gurantee it.
Its the "tower" that guy is holding.
to the right is roti BOMB...or BOOM... or BOM... 
it have no explosive taste, but it taste SWEET!!!!

early in the morning on Christmas day,
my family went shopping at Sungai Wang plaza,
while my uncle brought me to Wisma UOA II to have my 1st Japanese buffet!!
sitting alone in Saisaki, the 1st branch of the Shogun japanese buffet restaurants.
 it was above my expectations, I'd imagine some stale sushi like the ones at KOI, but it's NOT!
I enjoyed my 2 hours there, not stop sushi-sashimi eating!!!!!!!
the setting was nice, many foods varying from Broiled sea cucumber to escargot.
 there's a corner just for Korean food.
 I'd had some Kimchi, but I didn't cuz I know the taste of Kimchi... not good, blek =P

 they've got some regular dining food, but I'm not there for that!
 even Japanese and Korean people were there eating as well.
 This salmon dish looks good... but it doesn't taste that good -.-
the waiter asked me if I wanted some of these.
Oyster!!! Yummm ^^
 The sushi bar is small, but it's enough.
 The choice of sushi is.... well, good.
 the california rolls on the other hand.... wow!! tooo many to count!!...or eat xD
 I just LOVE the Sashimi!!!
 The "Jang-gun balls" are nice too.
and the Yakimono... hmmmm,not bad
the workers there are friendly enough,
one of them volunteered to take my picture with the shopfront.
I will miss the sushi, sashimi and tempura!!!
though I cannot deny that I'm quite sick of it now.... hehe ^^"
after that Large meal, I walked around Pavillion mall.
one of my favourite places to go is the Tokyo Street, all the shops there are japanese-themed.
 while the lou there is amazingly clean xD if you know what I mean.
fatefully I've met Gary!! never thought seeing him there.
He dropped by for Christmas at Pavillion!!!

 Many people turned up to see him, adding a confused me in the crowd!
  

Well, thats it! My Christmas trip to KL 2012!!!!
Sadly I fell sick right after the trip... slept 1 whole day to recover.
>_< just returned home, yet I've gotta prepare for National Service!!

Perlis Tasoh camp here I come!!!
 thank goodness! I've found out that 2 of my middle school friend is going to the same camp as me.
YEAHHHH!!!!! *happy happy  
   I'm not alone!
 
After a few days of prepping and looking up PLKN on the net.
I guess I can say I'm prepared for it now >= \
gonna miss all my family and friends soo much,
I wanted to returned to school tomorrow to see my friends
but I've got a "flight" to catch early morning :(
1 way or another, tomorrow I'm going already...

well, nasty thoughts aside...
on the 31st of December, I spent my last days before NS with my family and friends.
My cousin's shop had it's grand opening that day,
all the best to his future endeavors. =)

after the opening, I hurried back to Penang for school.
Just to visit my friends and teacher.
It's too bad that I have bank buisness to handle, I would have love to chat longer with them. =)

At night, I went out with Isaac, HuiChing and JiaChen's family for New Year's eve celebration.
We enjoyed Pizza Hut at our local mall. ChitChat+Eat.
can you guess which of the above is 7-up and which is plain water? neither could we -.-

Isaac and the guys went to all the trouble of buying me a present this year ^^
Thanks guys! Appreciate these cookies from Cameroon Highlands.
 Later, we carpooled to Auto-city for countdown to 2013!!
after a 40 MINUTES drive, we arrive there just in time for
10.... 9.... 8.... 7... 6..... 5....... 4...... 3........ 2......... 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and its NEW YEAR!!
the traffic was sooo bad, we've had to wait untill 2am just for the traffic to clear.
we done some shopping as well xD

 After a tiring new year countdown, it is Home Sweet Home!!! <3

Now thou shall pack for NS!!

ready for jungle life!?
I'll be back for Chinese New Year!!!!
I'm gonna miss everyone sooooooooooooo much.
